Donated trees are supplied and placed by the Arboricultural Section, Culture, Department for Place, in our public parks and open spaces and in some areas along highways.
Donated trees can be planted in most parks and open spaces however; due to popularity of this service the following sites ARE NOT available for planting:
If you decide, after meeting on site with a member of the Department, you do not wish to go ahead with the tree; your money will be refunded in full. Upon receipt of the completed application form and payment, a receipt letter will be sent to you and arrangements made for the next planting season.
Please note – all applications need to be received before the end of September to allow trees to be ordered. Planting will take place between December and March.
Should the tree be damaged or vandalised, the Council cannot be held responsible for the cost of replacement.
Should you require any further information, please contact the Arboricultural Section on 01702 215001.
Please note that the scattering or burying of ashes beneath or around trees is prohibited.
